Dedicated to spreading joy and empowerment, we embark on a unique mission: teaching the art of clowning to the resilient children of sex workers in Kamathipura, Mumbai. With laughter as our universal language, we strive to uplift spirits, foster resilience, and break down barriers. Each member of our team brings a wealth of experience and a heart full of empathy, united in our belief that every child deserves a chance to dream and flourish. Together, we weave moments of magic and mirth, cultivating a community where laughter knows no bounds.

Mithilla Tillu

Mithilla's dual role as an educator and an organizational coordinator reflects a holistic approach to her contributions. By bridging the worlds of education and humanitarian efforts, she actively participates in facilitating meaningful connections between Clowns Without Borders India and its partners, ultimately contributing to the organization's mission of bringing smiles and laughter to those who need it most.

Communications Manager

Rohit Bhosale

In addition to being the eyes and ears of CWB, Rohit Bhosale embodies the spirit of performance, seamlessly blending his role as a communication manager with the art of storytelling. His contributions play a vital role in shaping the public perception of CWB, showcasing the transformative power of laughter and joy that the organization brings to communities across India.

Kalyan Choudhary

Formally trained in acting, speech, and stage combat by the Prague Shakespeare Company in the Czech Republic, he boasts a global perspective on the performing arts. Collaboration with Clowns Without Borders USA & Sweden further showcases a commitment to using the transformative power of laughter for social impact.

Performer & Facilitator

Sagar Bhoir

A notable project in Sagar's portfolio is his involvement in a Clowns Without Borders India production. He played a crucial role in a Clown trio based on Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play "Shakuntalam," directed by Rupesh Tillu. This production, which successfully toured with over 560 shows across India, showcases Sagar's ability to bring classical literature to life through the engaging medium of clowning.

Shreeram Chaudhary

Shreeram Chaudhari, a dedicated performer and facilitator, has been an integral part of Clowns Without Borders India for the past 12 years. His dynamic contributions include performing as part of the clown duo, "Bags of Gags," alongside Sagar Bhoir, entertaining audiences across India in more than 80 shows.

One notable contribution is her involvement in the show titled "That's How We Feel." This unique clowning performance was devised by the girls who underwent workshops in the Kamathipura area. In this show, Shraddha and her fellow performers use clowning as a powerful medium to share their personal stories, offering a creative and empowering expression of their experiences.
